Skerries Lawn tennis Club has an active ladies section. There is a ladies morning every Saturday from 10 a.m. where members play social tennis against players of all levels of experience. A Committee member is present to rotate games and doubles partners. It is a great opportunity for new members to come along and gain experience and get to know other players.

We always welcome new members and Saturday morning tennis usually finishes with a coffee so a social reason to come along too!

In addition to ladies morning, ladies can also attend club night on Monday nights from 7pm and avail of the chance to play some mixed doubles.

Ladies teams are entered into leagues throughout the year, as per the league schedule. All players are encouraged to put their name forward for teams. In addition, fun tournaments, round robins and friendlies with other clubs are arranged.

There is also a ladies singles and doubles competition in the club championship every August, in addition to a mixed doubles event. The ladies ladder is based on the singles championship results, with challenge matches encouraged throughout the year.
